At Little Moon Yoga Camp children will engage in activities geared towards focusing and calming the body and mind. This camp will allow children to both connect with their bodies and enable them to feel creative and empowered. After yoga camp, your child will feel refreshed and prepared to continue onto the next school year with new self-calming techniques and self-confidence. At camp we do lots of yoga, spend time meditating and exploring nature together, work on partner postures, make healthy snacks while learning about the importance of food, and develop friendships and bonds that are truly unique!
Camp activities include a creative yoga practice, breathing techniques, nature walks, introduction to mindfulness, journaling/drawing, crafts, and relaxation!

This camp is led by Jess Gruber, who has been teaching children’s yoga since 2011 and is also a preschool and ESL teacher. After teaching English in Thailand and traveling the East, she discovered that her passion was teaching children and providing them the honest experience of understanding their inner selves through yoga and meditation. She has taught (yoga and academics) in Montessori, Nature Preschools, and Public Schools. Her experience and creativity allow for children to share their ideas and foster a truly, child-centered experience. Additionally, her sister, Nicole Gruber, will be aiding at this camp. Nicole is a senior studying Special Education at Towson University and will bring knowledge and understanding to those children who have special needs. She has worked at Franklin Montessori, Longview School, and AccessAbility MedCare, specializing in working with children on the autism spectrum.
If you have any specific questions about this camp or your child, please email Jess Gruber at email@example.com
